If you get 2 points or even higher, your score will be then combined with the test multiple choice part in order to outline the final score.

Start your GED essay with overview writing. A professionally completed essay will include 3 parts: introduction, the body information segment, and a conclusion. Every paragraph should involve 4-6 sentences. Try to generate short paragraphs and make them focused on the key idea.

Start your work with a topic sentence. A wining essay is the one that has a successful topic sentence. This sentence should present the answer for the question being asked. For instance, if the question is something like “what 100 000 dollars can buy”, then GED essay topic sentence should state, “100 000 dollars would buy…” In case the question is related to the most prominent historical figure, the essay topic sentence can state something like “The most prominent historical figure is …”

Three supporting reasons list. After providing an essay topic sentence, give three key reasons to support it. For instance, “Jesus Christ was (is) the most prominent historical figure because…” After you have provided three supporting examples or reasons, summarize them with a conclusive sentence in order to accomplish the introductive paragraph.

Work on the body section of the GED essay. The 2nd paragraph is supposed to be concentrated on the first reason. Give further details about it by generating supporting details and attach a conclusive segment. Make use of transition words and word combinations in order to keep the essay flow smoothly. “To begin with, Jesus Christ is the most prominent historical figure for me because…” Generate the third paragraph on the basis of the second reason. “Secondly, my life wouldn’t be the same without Jesus Christ for the reason that ____________.” The #4 paragraph is focused on the #3 reason. “Finally, Jesus Christ had always _______.”

Make a conclusive paragraph. The final essay paragraph is a GED essay sections that involves the topic sentence restatement. “Jesus Christ has always been truly prominent and influential in my everyday life.” Provide the three-reasons-why restatement and finally sum up the key points that your readers have to take away after acquainting with the essay.
